Welcome to the website of Shield34 Ltd. (the “Website” and “Shield” respectively), the developer and provider of the “Shield34 Software Development Kit”, which together with all its related software (“Shield SDK“), has been uniquely designed for optimizing your test automation frameworks in addition to any other form of automation code you might hold (“Test FW“).
Unless specifically stated otherwise in this Policy, all capitalized terms shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms.
By using the Service or providing your personal information (or access to such information), you consent to the terms of this Policy and to the practices described herein, and acknowledge that you are not required by law to provide your personal information to us, and do so willingly and in agreement with this Policy.
Please note that your personal information may be processed in countries where laws regarding processing of personal information may be less stringent than the laws in your country.
Information We Collect
We intend to collect the following information about you:
Information Provided by you:
- You may provide us with certain information in your account, including but not limited to your name, address, email and phone number, that might be requested by us during the registration of your User Account.
- Your Test FW.
If you are executing a payment for the use of Service (when applicable), the third party payment processor (your bank in case of a wire transfer or your credit card company in case of payment with a credit card) is likely to collect billing and financial information it needs to process your charges. We do not collect or store your financial information, however, the third payment processors may share non-financial information with us related to your purchases, such as your name, postal address, e-mail address and billing address.
How We Collect Information
Our only source of information is the information provided to us by you, whereas the only other source of information includes standard information provided by your bank or credit card company when processing your payment.
How We Use the Information
Our sole purpose of our collecting information is to provide you with the Service, and to facilitate activities relating to the Service (such as the payment information required by us in order to process your payments).
Occasionally, we may also use your contact information to contact you and notify you about important changes to the Service, new services and special opportunities we think you will find valuable. By providing us with your contact information you also provide your consent to our use of such contact information to send you such Service-related notices, including any notices required by law. You may notify us at any time if you do not wish to receive such communications by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by clicking “unsubscribe” in the message.
In addition, we may disclose your information in response to a legal process, for example, in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose such information in response to a law enforcement agency’s request, or where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms, or as otherwise required by law. Also, we may transfer information about you if we are acquired by or merged with another company or in the unlikely event that we are is dissolved.
Personally Identifying Information
The information you provide to us will include Personally Identifying Information (“PII“) which is information that can be used to uniquely identify, contact, or locate or otherwise identify you, including any identifying information you have provided us in order to use the Service, such as your name, address, email address, your personal password, and your mobile number. We do not collect PII except when provided voluntarily by you directly. We do not rent, sell or disseminate PII to third parties without your consent, other than:
- disclosure to our employees, consultants, contractors, business partners, service providers and suppliers. Such disclosure is normally subject to the recipient’s undertaking of confidentiality obligations and the prevention of any independent right to use this information by the recipients, except as required to help us provide the Service.
- to comply with applicable laws and regulations or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, whether or not a response is required by applicable law;
- to enforce an agreement or to protect our rights;
- with any of our parent, or affiliated or successor entity;
- to consummate, and as part of, any asset sale, transfer, merger or liquidation;
You may choose voluntarily whether or not to provide us with your PII. If you choose to avoid providing your PII as we request it, you may be unable to access and use certain options, offers and services that involve our interaction with you. You may request access to all your voluntarily-provided PII that we collected and maintain in our database by sending a written request to email@example.com.
You may also request that your account be disabled by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Deactivation and Deletion of Your Information
If you want to delete or remove your PII stored with us permanently, you may send an e-mail to email@example.com. Please include “Delete my Information” in the subject line and your full name and e-mail address in the body of the e-mail. We will respond to your request in a timely manner, normally within forty-five (45) days. Upon such request, we will make our best efforts to remove all your PII from our database. However, please note that some information may not be deleted from all databases and backup records. If you have posted content on or through the Service, we may not be able to delete it and copies may remain viewable elsewhere to the extent it has been shared publicly, or was copied or stored by others. We may also retain certain PII for customer service, legal and similar purposes. We reserve the right to keep all non-PII and continue to use such non-PII in accordance with this Policy after the termination of your account and deletion of all your PII.
We will only collect and use personal data information in accordance with this Policy to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to serve our legitimate business purposes. We use industry standard measures to ensure the security of all information, including the use of passwords, firewalls, encryption and remote servers, and routinely evaluate our practices to identify security threats or opportunities for the improvement of our Service. However, no transmission of information is guaranteed to be completely secure. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise information security. You acknowledge and agree to assume this risk when communicating with us.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register to the Service. If you are under 18, please do not use the Service and do not send any information about yourself to us. No one under the age of 18 is allowed to provide any personal information to us. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under the age of 18, please contact us promptly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
By using the Service you consent to our collection and use of your personal information as described in this Policy. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you by placing a post regarding those changes on the Service or by other means, as per our sole discretion. We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes to this Policy are binding and effective when they are posted on this page.
